Multiple motorcycles involved in fatal crash near Colorado Springs hospital (10)

At least three motorcycles were involved in a crash north of downtown Colorado Springs near Penrose Hospital Tuesday night, Gazette news partner KOAA reports.

One person died in the wreck and the other two riders fled, Colorado Springs police said. Speed is a possible factor.

CSPD posted on social media Tuesday night, saying that both directions of North Nevada Avenue were closedfrom East Van Buren Street to East Jackson Street due to the traffic crash.

If anyone has information on the crash or the two people who fled, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 719-634-7867.
